Our historic Vermont Inn, the centerpiece of the historic Vermont Village of Brandon, is an ideal location for the Vermont Wedding of your dreams.

With a large dining area, a spacious ballroom and more than 80 elegant guestrooms, the Brandon Inn can accomodate any size wedding party in any type of weather.

Brandon, Vermont, where the Neshobe River tumbles into Otter Creek was a natural hub for travelers long before Jacob Simonds built the first tavarn above Neshobe Falls in 1786. Simonds' simple one-story tavarn has long since been replaced by a stately Dutch Colonial that presides over the historic central square,

Nestled between Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks to the west, and the Green Mountains to the east, the historic village of Brandon is an ideal base for exploring Vermont. Historical sites, arts and antiques, and recreational opportunities abound in every direction. Whatever your interests, we can point you in the right direction (after a hearty breakfast, of course).

August, 2003

There have been some fabulous weddings here this summer, rainy weather notwithstanding. At the Brandon Inn, rain does not mean rain-out. We can comfortably move the festivities indoors or out, without putting a damper on the occasion. When you plan your wedding with us, you won't sweat the weather.

The Pigs of Brandon are the talk of the town and have created quite a buzz thoughout Vermont as well as nationally. We were privileged to host artists, pigs and sponsors at the initial "roll-out" and following "The Really Pig Parade" on May 24, two pigs reside with us while the remaining 41 have dispersed throughout the village. The Pigs are currently summering in Brandon (see the Map) and will soon disperse to permanent homes. Details on the pigs can be found at: www.pigsofbrandon.org
